THE UNDERGROUND SERIES - Tuesdays at 7pm
In 2023 Ensemble Q brings Brisbane a superb intimate series that allows you to sit back, relax with a glass of something special, nibble on some cheese or olives, and become part of the very breath of a performance by these outstanding musicians.
Presented on five Tuesday nights from 6.30pm, the concerts are held in a historic cellar that tells as many stories about old West End, the prohibition and murder mysteries as the music that will be presented there. The building dates from 1889, when Dvorak, Elgar, Mahler and many more
composers were at the height of their careers. Step down through the entrance and enjoy the beauty of the old stone walls while you witness
music, at its best.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"The clotted cream of Ensemble Q performances”
“It was a timeless moment with each musician at their peak, where you wished it could have
been endless. As the feather-soft clarinet faded into oblivion, the microcosm of the group paused,
and the stillness was palpable. Rowdy cheering and applause replaced the silence, as all absorbed the
treasure of an intimate and incomparable evening of chamber music.”
