The Composer that leads us into the Twentieth Century, partnered with one of the composers who embodies it. A concert of Mahler and Shostakovich's extreme virtuosity and devastating beauty. Sandwiched between two monumental statements is Ensemble Q's own Paul Dean and his Wind Quintet's depiction of Craig Silvey's iconic Australian novel, Jasper Jones.
