Jacob enoka, percussion
Jacob Enoka is a sought after freelance multi-percussionist who performs regularly with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with Orchestra Victoria, Australian Philharmonia Orchestra and Queensland Pops Orchestra. Passionate about local chamber music, Jacob performs regularly with Ensemble Q, Ensemble Trivium and Camerata - Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra.
Jacob is also an avid educator, having run workshops for Education Queensland and Queensland Youth Orchestras. He is an adjudicator in the Gold Coast Eisteddfod and also tutors across several Greater Brisbane schools as well as at the University of Queensland’s School of Music.
Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Music majoring in Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in 2017, where in his final year he performed Joseph Schwantner’s Percussion Concerto with the Conservatorium Wind Orchestra. Whilst at University, Jacob was Principal Percussionist for the Australian Youth Orchestra for their 2016 season and National Music Camp.
