The second of Brahms' three piano quartets is the composer's most personal and also most searingly intense chamber work. The slow movement is truly on of the highlights of the entire chamber music catalogue.  Following this is the most most incredible chamber work of the twentieth century. Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time is the embodiment of a musical journey. A concert not to be missed.
